On Tuesday, December 15, just a few days before Christmas, the new Apple AirPods Max wireless headphones will be released. Is it a coincidence? We do not believe and indeed, we think that this is the umpteenth move by Apple to ensure a closure with a flourish of this 2020.
With a U-turn, the small and comfortable AirPods we’ve seen so far give way to “real” and more “classic” headphones: big, in plain sight. Even with colors, the company is ready to expand its world: no longer the only choice of white, but more nuances ranging from sidereal gray, to silver, to light blue, to green and, finally, to pink.

The design is always minimal, dry, clean. The headband in stainless steel that wraps the head is in perforated and breathable mesh, with an optical effect of slight transparency: Apple has revealed that the study of the bow was based mainly on the desire to lighten the pressure on the head and reduce weight , to ensure maximum comfort.
The adjustable ear cushions are built in a memory-foam material that adheres to the ear allowing a totally immersive experience.

Finally, the sophisticated, ultra-flat design Smart Case is truly beautiful.
Although the headphones continue to ride the minimal wave of the over-ear design and the audio is impeccably high fidelity, we wonder if it is not the case to set limits to the crazy pricing that has always distinguished the brand. The price in fact continues to be for the elite: 629 euros.
But isn’t it a little too much this time? How much are we willing to spend on a pair of headphones (not even so innovative in their functionality)?
