Pharrell Williams launches “NOW IS HER TIME”, a campaign that aims to promote women’s emancipation in the world through the power of representation and voices that are not afraid of being heard.
Pharrell‘s new collaboration with adidas Originals is told through the point of view of women from various backgrounds and the men who support them in their struggle. Expression of the spirit of our era, “NOW IS HER TIME” is an invitation to action for the 21st century: a campaign that uses the Pharrell platform to amplify women’s voices and stimulate debate on current problems and perspectives.
The protagonists of the campaign range from activists to artists who are spokesmen for causes centered on gender, sexuality, sexual rights, race and equality. Behind the lens is the legendary photographer Collier Schorr, whose portfolio of works focuses on genre, sexuality and identity.
The collection is composed of 24 silhouettes: 4 NM TR HuD, 6 Crazy BYW X, 8 Solar HU and 6 Adilette sandals with strap. The range is developed in a wide spectrum of colors, from the most natural shades to the most vibrant ones.
The shoes are also full of special details sufficient to satiate the appetite of even the most demanding sneaker addicts and also present a multitude of positive messages, such as: “GRATITUDE / EMPATHY”, “BREATHE / THOUGHTS” and “INFINITE / SPECIES”.
