The second chapter of the adidas Originals by Ji Won Choi collection has just been presented, a collaboration entirely dedicated to black and white geometries.
The new adidas Originals by Ji Won Choi capsule analyzes the concept of movement through the lens of sport and culture, once again reinventing the iconic adidas Originals three strips.
Stylistic inspiration and cultural references in the forms celebrate the designer’s Korean origins and decline her personal design philosophy in a line of sportswear, giving new freshness to the classic gym suit.
adidas Originals by Ji Won Choi was created to give a sense of security and at the same time comfort; a reaffirmation of the simple style, made even more effective by the absence of color.
Black and white chase each other in the shapes and draw attention to the stripe, re-proposing it to infinity; a recurring element, the hallmark of adidas Originals and the creative expressiveness of Choi creating a bold effect as much as that of the previous collection.
The adidas Originals by Ji Won Choi capsule collection will be available starting July 27 at the Flaghship Store Originals Milan in via A. Toqueville 11, at adidas stores around the world, on the site at www.adidas.com/jiwonchoi and in selected stores throughout Italy.
