Photographer Nikki Krecicki takes a lookbook for her 91-year-old grandmother

After selecting the best 3 Pratt graduating students ( Anderson Osmun , Rachel Lee and Jeremy Woods ) makes Jane , 91, wear the clothes of the three future fashion designers and start shooting.
The shots taken extend the project in progress Jane & I , in which the photographer Nikki has been photographing the 91 year old Jane , former personal secretary of Albert Einstein, as well as her grandmother .

More than just a model, an example.
The decision to photograph the grandmother stems from the desire to break down the established rules on who should wear what.
grandmother Jane is a mature woman who has always considered fashion as a means to affirm gender equality . In 1944, at the age of only 17, he bought himself a pair of trousers. Socially committed, fashion is a political and social change tool for her.
It is precisely this social project started by Jane 75 years ago that pushed her granddaughter Nikki to create Jane & I , a project that fights against age-related stereotypes .
So in the summer of 2018, grandmother and granddaughter spent the summer together in their home in North Carolina, always happy place for both, wearing and taking lookbooks with the creations of the three aspiring designers.
The project, in addition to strengthening the relationship between grandmother and granddaughter, allowed Jane to rediscover herself Woman at 91 years old, until the reacquisition of her self-esteem. The maximum that every photographer can aspire to.
