Casio ha presentato la nuova collezione di G-Shock per l’estate, a catturare la mia attenzione è stato questo modello. Il colore mi ricorda tantissimo le vecchie Big Babol. Peccato che non si possa masticare!

Highsnobiety, pubblica questo interessante Infinity watch realizzato per Levi  Maestro da Shayan Afshar. Infinity, nel senso che non esistono lancette per le  ore e per i minuti. Ma la provocazione è riuscita. Oggi l’orologio è più ornamento e gioiello che funzione. D’altronde l’ora la trovate già sul cellulare, sul pc, sul tablet, sul tabellone alla stazione e alla metro. A chi serve oggi davvero un orologio? Per dirla tutta dobbiamo dire che la prima ad aver fatto una cosa del genere era stata Natalia Brilli (già da noi pubblicata in passato). Quindi, insomma, l’idea non è nuova. La realizzazione  però è brillante. Sul prezzo di 350 dollari, invece, giudicate voi.

Casio ha voluto fare le cose in grande per la presentazione del nuovo G-Shock GX56 a Milano. Galleria Mervaigli è stata allestita con una scenografia chic e imponente, ed il party è stato davvero un evento degno del marchio di orologi più resistenti del mondo. Numerosi erano gli ospiti invitati: artisti, vip, giornalisti. Nella della galleria è stata allestita poi una mini mostra di Casio G-Shock storici ed in edizione limitata, seguendo un filo logico che spiegava l’evoluzione di questo prodotto negli anni dalla sua creazione ad oggi. Non sono mancate poi le sorprese, dopo il discorso di Mr. Ibe il vero padre di G-Shock e la presentazione del nuovo splendido Casio GX56 sulla struttura allestita al centro della galleria si sono alternati i vari Dj ospiti del party, come R-Ash, Skizo & Esa. Durante la serata si è poi svolta una gara di street art tra tre artisti molto bravi, che a suon di musica lavorando sodo hanno realizzato tre dipinti basati sulla loro visione di G-Shock. Le opere sono state realizzate da: Owen, Boost e Rebus con bombolette spray, colori a olio e pennarelli acrilici. Per gli scettici sulla indistruttibilità del G-Shock, Casio ha allestito un muro dove poter lanciare questi orologi davvero unici constatando che sono resistentissimi a qualsiasi tipo di urto. Insomma il Party è stato davvero bello e unico, e Casio ci ha fatto innamorare ancor di più dei suoi prodotti. Questa è la testimonianza di WAIT!. Dove c’è stile e qualità ecco che arriviamo noi per raccontarvelo!

Casio has wanted to do great things for the presentation of the new G-Shock GX56 in Milan. Mervaigli’s Gallery  was arranged with a chic and impressive scenery. The party for the Casio indistructible watch was really beautiful . Many guests were invited: celebrities, VIPs and journalists. In the gallery was prepared a mini historical exhibition of Casio G-Shock Limited Edition, following a logical thread that explained the evolution of this product in the years after its creation. There were also surprises during the evening, after the speech of Mr. Ibe, the real father of G-Shock and Casio GX56 presentation,  of the new structure set up in the middle of the gallery took turns various guest DJ of the evening, as R-Ash, Skizo & Exam. During the party was then held a competition of street art from three  very good artists .The paintings were made by Owen, Boost and Rebus with spray cans, oil paint and acrylic pens. For those skeptical about the indestructibility of the G-Shock, Casio has set up a wall where you can launch these watches are truly unique noting that are really extremely resistant to any kind of impact. So the party was really nice and unique, and Casio has made us fall in love even more of its products. This is WAIT!’s testimony. Where there is style and quality that we come here to tell!
