La collezione Earthkeepers di Timberland, sa coniugare in una produzione in linea con il massimo rispetto ambientale, tutta la tradizione e l’innovazione nel mondo outdoor che il brand sin dal 1973 ha saputo incarnare. Ecco in anteprima due pezzi clamorosi della prossima collezione a-i 11. In che modo questi capi si possono dire eco-friendly? La fodera interna è al 100% in PET riciclato ( traspirante ed ecologica) mentre la suola in Green RubberTM , prodotta per il 42% da pneumatici riciclati, offre resistenza e massima trazione grazie alla struttura ad intaglio. Earthkeepers TM 2.0 Cupsole Moc Toe Boot è disegnato per essere disassemblato e riciclato almeno per il 50% al termine del suo utilizzo.

Tuttavia, basti guardare le immagini e possiamo affermare che Earthkeeper di Timberland non solo è eco-freidlu, ma anche che contiene capi eccezionalmente belli.

In esclusiva per il mercato italiano, Timberland celebra il mitico Yellow Boot presentando la Limited Edition Authentic Premium Suede.  Le caratteristiche sono tutte quelle classiche del leggendario 6″, ma con dettagli originali per lo ‘special pack’, come la tomaia in suede, il logo Tree vintage, i lacci in cuoio e gli occhielli in acciaio. Il prodotto arriva in una speciale confezione da  collezione.

Nato nel 1973 come scarpa da lavoro, lo Yellow Boot è sbarcato in Italia nel 1979, affermandosi da subito come oggetto di culto e accessorio intramontabile. Un classico senza tempo con caratteristiche uniche da sempre come la durabilità e soprattutto l’impermeabilità: è stata la prima calzatura a utilizzare pellami impregnati al silicone e un’innovativa tecnica di costruzione del fondo ad l’iniezione diretta della gomma sulla tomaia, diventando così la prima calzatura certificata totalmente impermeabile.

The characteristics are those of the legendary classic 6 ” Premium Yellow Boot, but with original details for the special pack, as the suede upper, logo Tree vintage, leather laces and eyelets steel. The product comes in a special collector’s box.

Born in 1973 as a work shoe, the Yellow Boot has arrived in Italy in 1979, immediately establishing itself as an object of worship and timeless accessory. A classic piece with unique features as the durability and water resistance: it was the first footwear using silicone impregnated leather and an innovative technique construction with the direct injection of the rubber on the upper, becoming the first certified, fully waterproof footwear.

This special release will be available in 2 colors: dark brown and tan. For the men even in the ‘roll up’ version.

Un’altra boat shoe? Ancora? Sì ma questa è cosa davvero inusuale. La collaborazione tra Opening Ceremony e Timberland consegna al pubblico qualcosa dal sapore tecnico e nuovo. Una ‘watwershoe’disponibile in 3 colori dove la pelle si mischia al mesh tecnico, per una silouette snella e una scarpa estremamente leggera. A 95 dollari solo negli stores Opening Ceremony e sul loro e-shop.

Another boat shoe? Again? Yes, but that’s really unusual. Coming from the collabo between Opening Ceremony and Timberland this is something new with a very technical taste. Per Timberland le grosse figate stanno arrivando dalle collaborazioni. Ci vorrebbe un po’ di pepe anche sulle collezioni main. Questa edizione speciale è in team con Ten Deep. Saranno disponibili da West NYC. Via.

Ormai nessun brand che rispetti rinuncia a creare una parte delle proprie collezioni che sia “green”, cioè realizzata con materiali al 100% naturali con una attenzione particolare all’utilizzo responsabile dell’energia e delle risorse.

Foto scattata personalmente a una vetrina. Decisamente interessante questo boot Timberland foderato in cuoio in contrasto. Sembra potersi risvoltare in maniera particolare, essendo un modello privo del giro-caviglia imbottito. La tomaia è in pelle ad effetto ‘used’. Probabilmente un prodotto da importazione estera parallela.
