Waiting for the sun (foto sotto) è invece un brand francese che lancia una linea completa di occhiale con le forme più moderne e accattivanti (anch’essi con lenti Carl Zeiss).

We are dealing with a madman, a genius, one of the greatest creative of this decade. These glasses are really crazy. I would like to see how they are wearing made like hands. Apparently there are not even the lenses … so the imagination can do everything.

Si chiamano Quay e arrivano dall’Australia. Potrebbe essere uno dei prossimi brand culto di occhiali. Le caratteristiche? Innanzitutto il prezzo, molto competitivo (sui 39 euro il mercato italiano), a fronte di un’ottima costruzione e forme e colori moderni, a volte di vero design, a volte molto ‘furbi’ (non manca il solito ramake dei wayfarer). Firstly the price, very competitive (about 39 euro in the Italian market), compared with excellent construction and modern colors and shapes, sometimes true design, sometimes very ‘clever’ (it’s not missing the usual wayfarer-remake). … bright colors and floral patterns.
