Ne sono sicuro, gli hipster di turno hanno ancora le loro Dean 02 a punta nell’armadio, come una reliquia, in attesa del ritorno. Dopo essere deiventato un cult, il marchio  londinese Swear ha pensato bene di concentrarsi su collezioni complete non focalizzate su un solo modello. La collezione che ho potuto ammirare a Berlino è sicuramente la più belle degli ultimi anni: nel senso che non c’è una singolo scarpa degna di nota, ma tantissimi modelli uno più bello dell’altro. Il look è quello classico, ma con un twist che lo rende giovane, fresco e anticonformista. Bravi i designer a lavorare sulle forme ma anche sugli accostamenti di vari pellami e gli inserti in lana. Tema dominante sono le brogue e gli stivaletti stringati. E’ ora di rivedere il brand in Italia ai fasti di un tempo!

I’m sure, the hipsters at the moment still have their pointed Dean 02 in the closet as a relic, awaiting the return. E’ piuttosto impressionante affermare che Grenson ha presentato al Bread & Butter la sua 289 esima collezione. Ebbene sì, Grenson è un maRchio inglese operante in inghliterra el Northamptonshire fin dalla data di fondazione: il 1866. Sembra sia giunto il momento delle ‘brogue’ artigianali e Grenson assieme a Tricker’s, Church’s etc e uno dei nomi più illustri del settore. Di Berlino mettiamo in mostra alcuni pezzi particolarmente originali: le brogue con suola in gomma molto alta, e il boot con punta rastremata (duck-boot) interamente in pelle.

In Italia gli intenditori già le amano. Strano che il brand americano con radici streetwear sia entrato subito in negozi classici che vogliono svecchiarsi e in quelli street-fashion in evoluzione. Eppure basti vedere questa nuova collezione. Wait è lieto di darvi una super-anteprima. Clae è unico nel creare dei modelli che mettono d’accordo tutti. Dal 20enne hipster, al 40 enne che cerca una scarpa casual e per nulla banale, con la possibilità di un uso veramente trasversale. Dal tempo libero, al lavoro di tutti i giorni. La nuova collezione è super. Gustatevi le Powell, con inserti in lana tweed e tomaia perforata stile ‘brogue’, la Hamilton (foto in alto) uno stivaletto dalla forma elegante, la Chambers, un polacchino bi-color cn punta in pelle dal sapore sofisticato (seconda foto) e il classico Strayhorn,  ora disponibili anche con suola Vibram. Rapporto qualità prezzo top: dai 90 ai 140 euro. E Clae vola su taccuini di tutti i buyer più attenti, come una delle scarpe da inserire per la prossima stagione.

Mi piacciono i brand dinamici. Bobby Burns, brand svedese di calzature, sicuramente lo è. Entrato in tanti store con le sue plimsolls e sneakers in canvas, Bobby oggi presenta (oltre alle classiche sneakers) una collezione ampia di stringate brogue basse e alte. Gli ex skater e quelli che vengono dal mondo streetwear diventeranno (diventeremo) tutti damerini? Parrebbe di sì. Suole in crepe, tomaie scamosciate, con colori classici e a volte super-accesi e con accostamenti forti, giusto per far capire che le regole si rompono, e lo street attinge dal classico ma re-interpreta, senza prendersi troppo sul serio.

I like dynamic branda. Bobby Burns , Swedish footwear brand, certainly is. Entered into many stores with its plimsolls and sneakers in canvas, Bobby now has (in addition to the classic sneakers) a vast collection of low and high lace up brogue. Former skater and those coming from the street world will become all dandies? It would seem so. Crepe soles, suede uppers with classic colors and sometimes super-bright and strong combinations, just to make it clear that the rules are broken, and street draws from the classic but re-interprets, without taking itself too seriously.

Non è la prima volta che vi parliamo di Ylati. E’ uno dei nostro obiettivi quello di segnalare i nuovi brand emergenti più interessanti del panorama. Ed Ylati è una delle sorprese delle ultime due stagioni. Ylati al Pitti, presenta una declinazione impressionante del suo modello di punta, il Sibilla: in versione bassa e mid, passando da varianti sobrie, arrivando a quelle pazze e iper-fashion in colori accesi e inserti in cavallino. Non mancano i modelli borchiati e quelli con profilatura in pelliccia. Secondo noi è giusta l’idea di puntare sul mono-prodotto piuttosto che offrire una molteplicità di modelli che fanno perdere di identità a un brand ai suoi primi passi. E’ tuttavia da segnalare, in quanto estremamente riuscito il polacchino a punta tonda (foto in basso).

It is not the first time that we talk about Ylati. And ‘one of our goals is to report the most exciting emerging new brands of the landscape. And Ylati is one of the surprises of the last two seasons. Ylati at Pitti, has an impressive variation of its flagship model, the Sibilla: low and mid versions, from simple variants, arriving at those crazy and hyper-fashion in bright colors and inserts in horse. There are also models studded and those with fur profiling. We think the idea is just to focus on single-product rather than offering a variety of models that are losing the identity of a brand in its infancy. It’s to be noted, however, as it’s highly successful, the round toe ankle-boot (pictured below).

Eccole. Dopo averne tanto parlato sono arrivate in Italia. Marchio inglese, che produce stivaletti e brogue per uomo e donna, dalle forme e l’appeal che  sono la perfetta richiesta del pubblico in questo momento. I fondatori di H by Hudson, ai loro esordi producevano in Italia. Oggi le scarpe sono prodotte in Portogallo e il rapporto qualità-prezzo rimane ottimo.

Mono Way è un marchio tutto italiano che realizza scarpe artigianali nelle marche. Ci siamo letteralmente innamorati della fatture delle calzature, del loro sapore vero, con le loro imperfezioni e la qualità che ci hanno trasmesso. I modelli che più ci hanno colpito sono gli stivaletti dal sapore motociclistico con apertura a zip sul retro ed effetto trapuntato lungo la caviglia, le pedule in stile trekking che rappresentano un vero must-have della stagione, e i boot dal sapore vintage realizzati anche con inserti di canvas e zip laterali.Il singolo modello che più ci è piaciuta è quella che vedete nella foto in alto. Fondo in gomma, apetto used, tinta in capo.

Mono Way is a pure italian brand that makes all Italian handmade shoes in the Marche. We are literally in love with the shoe design and manufacture, their true taste, with their imperfections and quality-taste that they have given us. The models which have affected us most are the motorcycle boots with zip opening at the back and quilted effect on the ankle, the hiking boots which is a true must-haves of the season, and boot from the vintage look also available ​​with canvas inserts and side zip. The shoe that we liked most is that you see in the picture above. Rubber bottom, used look, fully dyed.

Philippe Model, assieme a Golden Goose sta sulla vette delle sneakers di lusso con maggior successo in Italia. Lo stand ci ha sorpreso. Non una esposizione, ma una vera e propria installazione.

Element porta la sua collezione Emerald (la prima linea ‘luxury’ del brand streetwear) all’ennesima potenza. Prima di passare all’anteprima assoluta dell’abbigliamento parliamo delle scarpe. Siamo alla terza stagione e la collezione si amplia. I materiali sono sempre ‘premium’. La bomba atomica è il boot con inserto in contrasto sulla caviglia (foto in alto), lacci in cuoio, cuciture a contrasto e suola Vibram. Il desert boot, rimane un best-of (anche in versione ultra-luxury con suola Vibram) con piccoli richiami ai nativi americani, evidenti nelle cuciture a croce e nel motivo applicato al retro del tacco. Sempre lo stile degli indiani d’america si ritrova nei morbidissimi mocassini in suede con profilo cucito a contrasto. Chiude a sorpresa (e qui, in un certo senso si raggiunge l’apice dell’evoluzione di un brand col cuore nello streetwear puro) una coppia di eleganti, e stilossissime brogue shoe in suede. Insomma, non c’è un pezzo che non meriti la standing ovation.

Element brings his Emerald collection (the first line ‘luxury’ streetwear brand) to the Nth degree. Before talking clothing about the clothing absolute-previuew, let’s talk about the shoes line.
