Peter Non. Peter dal greco ‘pietra’. ‘Non’ perchè si tratta di una non-scarpa. Una scarpa che trascende la funzione. Che non è fatta per fare questo o quello. Non mi stupirei nemmeno che inizialmente quel ‘No’n sia preso in prestito proprio dalla Val Di Non, visto che queste scarpe italianissime sono realizzate, così recita il sito, ai piedi delle Dolomiti. Una scarpa originale, artigianale. Con un sapore shabby chic. Mi ricordano un po’ per lo spirito Birkenstock , un po’ Anniel ma in fondo hanno una loro personalità unica e spiccatissima. E’ per questi valori il successo potrebbe essere dietro l’angolo. Sono disponibili in versione alta, e anche in sabot.

They are available in high top, and even in the sabot version.

Quando feci un articolo su queste scarpe successe un putiferio. Un sacco di richieste su cosa fossero e dove si trovassero. Ora, grazie a Pitti, lo sappiamo. Le peculiarità delle Civic Duty è il materiale di cui sono fatte il Tyvek, un tessuto brevettato da DUPont, già utilizzato per le buste delle spedizioni, ad esempio di fed Ex, E’ una specie di tessuto simil-cartaceo, ma idrorepellente e molto resistente.E’ un materiale totalmente ‘green’ e riciclabile. Ora ci han fatto le scarpe. Sono in tanti colori, alte e basse. E quell’aspetto stropicciato è irresistibile. Saranno distribuite da ArtCrafts International (distributori in Italia di bran quali le Crocs…), quindi ci aspettiamo che saranno proposte con una certa visibilità. Il prezzo poi, sarà interessante..attorno ai 70-80 euro, ma su questo attendiamo di darvi maggiori informazioni.

Abbiamo già parlato di Sperry ma abbiamo lasciato volutamente uno spazio dedicato a queste stringate. Sono un progetto interessante, decisamente originale per la casa (specializzata in boat-shoe), si tratta di stringate con il retro morbidissimo che può essere abbattuto e permette di portare le scarpe come sabot.

Ne avevamo già parlato qui, ricordate? Più di un anno fa erano ancora un pò acerbe forse, oggi le calzature di Rokin sono la scelta giusta per chi cerca una derby dal gusto used ad un prezzo competitivo. Made in Portugal, sono fatte in pelle di vitello lavata, sporcata, sgualcita, maltrattata per dargli le giuste sfumature e quel senso di usato e vissuto che le contraddistingue. E’ raro che pubblichiamo qualcosa di Energie negli ultimi 2 anni. E’ questo che vogliamo. Coraggio, meno loghi e patacconi. Questa scarpa, un ibrido tra una sneaker e una boat shoe, per quanto sopra le righe, è quello che mi aspetto da un brand con questa storia e che porta la parola ‘energia’ nel nome. Cogliere i trend, e reinventarli, frullarli, anticiparli. Più sobriertà, lavoro sui materiali e tagli. Sensazione di un prodotto più ‘alto’. Con queste scarpe me l’hanno comunicato. Avanti così.

It ‘s rare that we publish something from Energie in the past 2 years. That ‘s what we want. Come on, less  logos and ‘bling-bling’ metal tags and embroidery. This shoe, a hybrid between a sneaker and a boat shoe (although a bit excessive), is what I expect from a brand with this story and brings the word ‘energy’ in its name. Seize trends, and reinvent them, processing them, anticipate them. More sobriety, work on materials and cuts. Sensation of a product ‘higher’. With these shoes I have felt these good vibes.
