Ho sempre pensato al mondo della moda come sinonimo di creatività, di un susseguirsi di un continuo rinnovamento unito alla voglia di uscire al di fuori degli schemi mentali ‘comuni’ e di ricerca costante del dettaglio (im)perfetto, ed è per questo che certi brand osannati nelle ultime stagioni non colpiscono piu di tanto il mio interesse, anzi sebbene all’inizio avessero lasciato tutti a bocca aperta, ora sono fonte solo di noia mortale…

Ebbene c’è una designer, la cui collezione ha trovato realmente spazio nelle boutique quest’anno, che secondo me rispecchia tutte le caratteristiche dette prima, si tratta di Sandra Backlund, stilista di origine svedese dal talento sopraffino e dotata di una visione estetica cosi particolare che Louis Vuitton ne ha subito approfittato per farle disegnare dei capi nel 2007.

Volumi, geometrie e la sapiente lavorazione della maglieria hanno reso lo stile della designer ormai riconoscibile, a testimonianza di ciò, l’interesse di buyers importanti come Colette, Luisa Via Roma e Dantone.

____________________I always thought about fashion as sinonymous of creativity, a continuos renewal and of constant research for the (im)perfect detail; it’s for these reasons that some acclaimed brands in the last seasons doesn’t reach my interest and they have become so boring.

Well there is a girl, whose collection has really found space in the shops this year, which I think reflects all of these before, her name is Sandra Backlund, a very talented Swedish designer, with avant-garde style and a modern vision of aesthetic, so particular that Louis Vuitton asked her in 2007 to create 3 outfits for the fashion show.

Volumes, geometries and the wise work on knitwear have made the style of Sandra so recognizable, as proof of this the interest of major buyers such as Colette, Luisa Via Roma and Dantone.
