Malph è un giovanissimo marchio italiano di cui abbiamo parlato fin dalla nascita, coccolato fin dagli albori, di cui vi abbiamo parlato sino a rompervi le palle, che poi è diventato nostro cliente, che continua  a far cose sempre migliori. E oggi è sbarcato tra le grandi griffes su Luisa Via Roma. Possiamo dire che che l’1 per 10 mila del merito ce lo abbiamo anche noi? Scherzi a parte..il gran merito è tutto del designer Luca Gregorio e della sua inventiva inarrestabile. Uno dei suoi marchi di fabbrica ‘l’effetto scotch’ è oggi dedicato a una t-shirt ‘limited edition’ sbarcata su Luisa Via Roma. Luisa Changed My Life.

Creato da Shepard Fairey (il disegnatore del poster di Obama per intenderci), OBEY è diventato un marchio importante nel mondo dello streetwear. Lo dimostra questa nuova collezione F/W2010, una via di mezzo tra indumenti da lavoro e indumenti di vita quotidiana. Ma questa collezione è importante anche perché Obey oltre a presentare felpe e tees, presenta anche una linea di pantaloni denim. Insomma, mancava solo questo per rendere perfetto questo brand.

Created by Shepard Fairey (the designer of posters of Obama for instance) OBEY has become an important brand in the world of streetwear. The new collection F/W 2010 proves this, as it’s in the midway between work clothes and everyday clothes. But this collection is also important because (as well as presenting sweatshirts and tees) also adds a full line of denim pants. It lacked only this to make this brand  perfect. And now it is!

Si, vi abbiamo già parlato di Johnson Motors Inc, di questa azienda che nasce nel 1938 come il primo distributore californiano delle migliori moto americane e inglesi. Le t-shirt oggi sono un oggetto di culto per appassionati, che si porta dietro tutto un mondo e una storia. Johnson Motors Inc. fa sul serio: si presenta nella parte più prestigiosa del B&B, il Lock, con un mega-padiglione, circondato da un’aura leggendaria, e mette in mostra le sue maglie 100% made in USA, realizzate con cotoni soffici come burro e dalle tipiche e stupende stampe iconografiche. Sembra un gioco di parole. Ma Wait! va su White T-shirt. I ragazzi di White T-shirt per ringraziarci dell’articolo di ieri ci hanno inviato un immagine di una t-shirt limited edition. Vedremo anche l’esemplare in giro? Nel frattempo: grazie ragazzi!

Forse le t-shirt bianche e nere iniziano a rompere i coglioni, ma mi devo ricredere in parte (dove non ci sono griffe-fake) con questo nuovo brand, scoperto di recente. E se proprio non ne potete più del black & white c’è la serie a colori con bambolona gonfiabile e Barbie e Ken.

E’ tanto, troppo tempo che non parlo di Digital Gravel, lo store online americano indipendente di t-shirt che ha regalato sempre cose clamorose e che ha fatto nascere tanti brand e dato visibità ad artisti oggi famosi.

Oggi torniamo a parlare di Digital Gravel con questa nuova seriata di tees di No Turning Back.

Facciamo un bel nodo al fazzoletto, e cercheremo di parlar e più spesso dello store.

Today we are happy to speak again about the store… we just received the news of these No Turning Back tees. Amazing.
