Tutte le amanti di Lanvin, che si sono sempre chieste perchè la citta di Milano non ospitasse una boutique tutta dedicata alla maison francese stanno per essere accontentate: sta per aprire i battenti in via della Spiga (ang. via Santo Spirito) un negozio che venderà esclusivamente le opere create dal genio di Alber Elbaz.

Ma la news non è finita, oltre alla collezione pret a porter femminile sarà presente all’interno della boutique anche un corner dedicato agli abiti da sposa.

T.N.B.P. (TUESDAY NIGHT BAND PRACTICE) è in arrivo da Frav Shop (la serie di store con base in piemonte ma oggi anche a Milano). Stile decisamente dark-rock per questo brand emergente inglese in grande crescita. Il giubbino con collo alto è spaziale.

Come e perchè vi è venuta la ‘pazza idea’ di aprire/gestire un fashion-shop? Perchè vogliamo mettere al servizio del nostro pubblico ed in maniera concreta, parte della ricerca che quotidianamente pubblichiamo su awsm.it .

Who has never heard about AWSM? Webzine borned two years ago and now established reality in continuous evolution, she talkes about art, photography, design,music and nightlife.

But today we want to talk about AWSM Store, even if just born, we believe it is one of the stores worthy of being included in our book of interviews with the best Italian shops.

A very pleasant surprise in Caserta, what we like in AWSM Store is the cool breeze that he has brought in Campania, doing good research, combining classic brands back in vogue, young brands now becamed certainties and emerging realities.

Si, Riccardo Tisci sta facendo grandissime cose per Givenchy, insediatosi nella Maison parigine nel 2005, sta avendo il merito di aver riportato ai vertici del trendsettismo una griffe ormai dimenticata.

E tutto ciò non solo proponendo una linea pret a porter femminile fantastica ma con una linea maschile pari livello, supportata da una grandiosa collezione couture.

Spostiamo il focus su un pezzo della collezione maschile, che di sicuro non lascerà indifferenti: il classico pezzo che o vi piace o vi fa schifo…

E’ una gonna? Sono dei bermuda? Semplicemente sono entrambe le cose.

Yes, Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy is doing great things, took office in the parisian based Maison in 2005, is having the merit of having brought back to the top a forgotten griffe.

And all this not only by proposing an awesome pret a porter line, but  also with a fantastic menswear, supported by a majestic haute couture collection.

I want to move the focus on a piece of men’s collection, which will certainly not leave you indifferent: the classic piece that either you like or you think it sucks …

Raphael Young ha da poco aperto il suo primo monomarca nella città di Parigi.

Se non lo conoscete vi chiederete “chi è?” Beh, come suggerisce l’immagine si tratta di un designer di calzature.

Sebbene abbia fondato da soli 3 anni il proprio marchio il successo di questo ragazzo coreano è in continua crescita, può vantarsi di aver visto star come Lady Gaga, Sarah Jessica Parker e Rihanna indossare le sue creazioni, oltre che aver disegnato capsule collection per brands come Elie Saab e Louise Goldin.

Cosa ha reso così famoso questo ragazzo? Oltre che un design veramente sensuale, accattivante e avanguardistico, un grande punto a favore di questo marchio è la maniacale cura del dettaglio e la qualità altissima che possiamo ritrovare in ogni calzatura.

Nipote di Alexandre Narcy, primo designer di calzature di Yves Saint Laurent (lo è stato per 40 anni), Raphael ha imparato dallo zio a seguire ogni processo nella creazione di una scarpa, mantenendo ancora oggi un approccio artigianale.

Sarà un caso che il monomarca è situato a fianco della boutique del ben più noto Christian Louboutin?

Raphael Young has just opened his first flagship store in Paris.

If you do not know him, you will ask “Who is he?“ Well, as the picture suggests he is a shoe designer.

Although he founded his own label only three years ago, the success of this boy is still growing, he can claim to have seen stars like Lady Gaga, Sarah Jessica Parker and Rihanna wearing his creations, as well as having designed a capsule collection for brands such as Elie Saab and Louise Goldin.

What made this guy so popular? In addition to design a truly sensual, engaging and avant-garde shoes line, a big point in favor of this mark is the obsessive attention to detail and the high quality which can be found in every shoe.

Nephew of Alexandre Narcy, first shoe designer at Yves Saint Laurent (he has been for 40 years), Raphael learned from his uncle to follow every process in the creation of a shoe, keeping nowadays an artisanal approach.

It’s a twist of fate the fact that his monobrand is situated next to the boutique of the well known Christian Louboutin?

Passato attraverso difficili problemi economici che ne hanno addirittura messo in dubbio la sopravvivenza, il leggendario brand (da noi amatissimo) April 77 ha aperto i battenti del suo shop online. Anche nei tempi difficili, anche se abbiamo dovuto dare in passato brutte notizie (ma vere) abbiamo sempre tifato per loro. Questa apertura è un segno ancor più tangibile che i ragazzi sono di nuovo in pista. Certo, il marchio è ritornato ai suoi prodotti più essenziali…jeans, polo, una giacca….ma noi siamo stra-felici di poter rimetterci un bel paio di Joey sulle chiappe. Come on!

Passing through serious economic problems (that even put doubt on the survival) the legendary brand (beloved by us) April 77 has opened its online shop. Even in difficult times, even if in the past we had to give bad news (but true) we always supported them. This opening is a more tangible sign that the boys are back on track. Of course, the brand has returned to its more essential products: jeans, polos, a jacket …. but we’re super-excited to put on our asses again a new pair of Joey. Come on!
