E’ piuttosto impressionante affermare che Grenson ha presentato al Bread & Butter la sua 289 esima collezione. Ebbene sì, Grenson è un maRchio inglese operante in inghliterra el Northamptonshire fin dalla data di fondazione: il 1866. Sembra sia giunto il momento delle ‘brogue’ artigianali e Grenson assieme a Tricker’s, Church’s etc e uno dei nomi più illustri del settore. Di Berlino mettiamo in mostra alcuni pezzi particolarmente originali: le brogue con suola in gomma molto alta, e il boot con punta rastremata (duck-boot) interamente in pelle.

In Italia gli intenditori già le amano. Strano che il brand americano con radici streetwear sia entrato subito in negozi classici che vogliono svecchiarsi e in quelli street-fashion in evoluzione. Eppure basti vedere questa nuova collezione. Wait è lieto di darvi una super-anteprima. Clae è unico nel creare dei modelli che mettono d’accordo tutti. Dal 20enne hipster, al 40 enne che cerca una scarpa casual e per nulla banale, con la possibilità di un uso veramente trasversale. Dal tempo libero, al lavoro di tutti i giorni. La nuova collezione è super. Gustatevi le Powell, con inserti in lana tweed e tomaia perforata stile ‘brogue’, la Hamilton (foto in alto) uno stivaletto dalla forma elegante, la Chambers, un polacchino bi-color cn punta in pelle dal sapore sofisticato (seconda foto) e il classico Strayhorn,  ora disponibili anche con suola Vibram. Rapporto qualità prezzo top: dai 90 ai 140 euro. E Clae vola su taccuini di tutti i buyer più attenti, come una delle scarpe da inserire per la prossima stagione.

Clarks ha pensato anche a lei. E’ qui c’è una bomba… con una base di partenza che ricorda la classica Desert Boot, Clarks realizza una scarpa con una zeppa. Iperfemminile, sexy e con uno stile che adoriamo.

La prossima collezione di Adidas Originals signori è una bomba. Non si sa da dove partire ma la prima cosa che ci ha subito colpito è una serie di hi-top i suede, con contrasti di colore molto belle, denominate Basket Profi che strizza l’occhio alle forme che stanno funzionando ora (vedi Nike eVintage Blazer etc). Se il gusto è questo, la serie farà il botto. a fianco un altra serie più minimale con tomaia in suede tinta unita, le tre bande bianche e zip diagonale sulla caviglia. Azzeccatissima. Altri pezzi MUST la serie ibrida che strizza l’occhio al trekking… e poi ovviamente una bella seriata di vintage, passando dalla Gazelle Indoor, con suola trasparente)  arrivando alle Grand Prix con trattamento invecchiato.

Ladies & gentleman, the next  Adidas Originals collection is a bomb. We do not know where to start but the first thing that immediately struck us is a number of the hi-top suede with contrasting colors, very nice, called the Basket Profi which winks to the forms that are working fine now (see Nike Vintage Blazer etc.). If the taste is this, the series will do a bang. Alongside another series, cleaner with solid suede uppers, the three diagonal white stripes and zipper on the ankle. Good job. Other pieces MUST-series hybrid that winks to trekking … and then of course a beautiful vintage seriata, passing by Gazelle Indoor, with transparent soles), and arriving to a vintage treated Grand Prix.

Denham, noto come The Jeansmaker, per la  l’eccellenza dei suoi jeans che raggiungono vette di qualità straordinaria, ha nelle ultime 2 stagioni impressionato per l’eccellenza nel capospalla. Il jeans è in effetti un mercato difficile e saturo, dove sicuramente non è facile vendere jeans che arrivano a superare i 400 euro. Denham allora sbaraglia tutti sul fronte della giubbotteria. Andando a scavare negli archivi, spesso militari, Denham rielabora giubbotti, cappotti, parka e giacche da esploratori dando alla luce veri gioielli, in un mix di materiali dove predomina il canvas con inserti in lana e finiture con corde e alamari. Quella mostrata in anteprima al Bread & Butter è, a mio parere, la più fantastica collezione di capispalla presente sul mercato oggi. Mixando tradizione e innovazione, sartoria e dettaglio Denham ci ha letteralmente lasciati a bocca aperta.

Marchio di culto, di ricerca, eccentrico. Di certo per pochi…Gourmet è sempre fuori dagli schemi… Nella collezione non mancano in must con l’inserto ‘air nella suola. Molto camouflage, chiusure asimmetriche, presente il duck-boot…. e uno speciale pacchetto ‘animalier’.
