Freitag ha presentato una collezione di borse da spiaggia, in edizione strettamente limitata, chiamate «Letten», «Paris Plage», «Copa Cagrana», «Blijburg» e «Bundespressestrand». Sono tutte realizzate con i “classici” teloni di camion, intrecciate a mano e caratterizzate da un cocktail di colori quasi unico: ogni combinazione di colore è stata infatti prodotta solo 15 volte.

They’re all realize with the “classical” truck tarpaulins, weave by hand and characterized by an almost unique cocktail of colors: every combination of color has been in fact produced only 15 times.

Pochi giorni fa vi abbiamo parlato delle Birkin stampate su borse in tela di Banane Taipei. A conferma del fatto che il trend è arrivato anche in Italia c’è Pomikaki Tokio, brand nato in Giappone e presentato al Pitti che produce borse praticamente identiche ed è reperibile su tutto il territorio nazionale (le ho viste in vetrina scambiandole per Banane Taipei…). Apparentemente l’unica differenza tra le due è il prezzo, quest’ultima costa 70€ contro i 129$ (più spedizioni).

Forse qualcuno non lo sa…ma Eastpak è uscita con una collezione di zaini Heritage. Insomma quelli di Easpak hanno dato un bel tuning ai loro zaini per indirizzarli verso la forte tendenza heritage-oudoor (vedi Sandqvist – Hershel). Questi sono disponibili da Coggles.

Arrivano da Taiwan, hanno avuto grande successo internazionale ed ora anche in Italia, queste borse in canvas, ma stampate frontalmente e di lato con un effetto da vera borsa in pelle stile Birkin di ‘Hermes’. Disponibili in tanti allegri colori, sono un’alternativa più cheap e decisamente ricca di humor rispetto ai pezzi originali. Le fashioniste ne vanno già pazze. Costo? Attorno ai 129 dollari. Here’s another must-have with a nice number of ‘imitations:  Banane Taipei.  They come from Taiwan, have had great success internationally and now also in Italy. These are bags in canvas, but printed front and side with effects as real leather bag in Birkin of Hermes style.
